Meet our Lead Administrator

amy weniger, lead administrator

I am honored and excited to serve as the lead administrator at the Village Leadership Academy. For the last year, I have been a training specialist for the Lee Pesky Learning Center, a non-profit, providing professional development and coaching in evidence-based literacy to educators across the state. Prior to that, I have 13 years of experience as an elementary teacher for the Boise, Granite, and West Ada school districts.

I earned my bachelor’s degree (2003) and master’s degree (2014) in educational leadership from Boise State University. Through their extended educational program, I also traveled to Belize on a service trip serving schools and students in poverty areas.

I am thrilled to be part of a Leader in Me school that supports and believes in the “whole child” and provides a culture of leadership for students, educators, and families. I look forward to collaborating with all stakeholders and fostering the love of learning in the community.

I was born and raised in Idaho and enjoy the summer season the most. I love watching my kids compete, spending time with my two Doodles, traveling, and reading a good book.
